Pokemon Game Festival Hong Kong 2023

The brand-new community landmark “The Wai” above Tai Wai Station has begun trial operations and is set to celebrate its first Mid-Autumn Festival, bringing together friends and family! The Wai will host its first large-scale Mid-Autumn event – “Wai Mid-Autumn,” featuring the city’s first-ever “Pokémon Game Festival Hong Kong 2023” themed around autumn festivals. There will be over 40 unique lanterns and seven fun photo spots, with Pokémon making surprise appearances to interact with fans.

Find your Pokémon partners

Many Pokémon will be scattered throughout the mall, and during the event, there will be a Pokémon search mission. Participants only need to find 4 out of 6 specified Pokémon, take photos with them, and then share on social media for staff verification to receive a beautiful “Detective Pikachu” 3D paper hat.

Pokémon coloring activity

There will be a Pokémon coloring activity area on-site where fans can add vibrant colors to their favorite Pokémon. Each participant who completes the coloring task will receive a Pokémon-themed folder, and outstanding works will have the chance to be showcased!

Pokémon meet-and-greet

On the Saturdays and Sundays during the event, Sprigatito, Frosmoth, and Quaxly will be roaming the venue. Pokémon fans looking to “collect stamps” will need to pay attention to each Pokémon’s appearance schedule! Additionally, Detective Pikachu will make a stylish appearance on October 7 and 8!
